Simple fact is itâs very hard to produce elite level international players in Ireland.
Thereâs only 23 in a squad. 3 or 4 will be project players and the squad is picked from players ranging from 22 to 34/35.
Leinster have incredible private investment and get the irfu to pay for 8 or 9 more players. Itâs no surprise theyâll make up the bulk of the Irish squad at all.
is 'Wegian new Galway slang for âcuntâ @maroonandwhite
No mate, âCorinthianâ
Connemara RFC is the only rubby football club I respect. Your Munchkins and Lansdownes can get ta fuck.
Youâre right, a good ten year gap there between Munster contributing anything in the way of international players. Itâs damning.

More bollocks as usual.
The last World Cup Munster were a little light but it was invariably project players keeping Munster lads out.
Munster are producing a grand base of players. Most of the provinces are now.
Itâs just Leinster are financially doped and will always produced multiples of everyone else.
Thereâs a gap of a decade where Munster didnât produce an international class player. Thatâs damning.

What gap?
The ten year gap.
The ten year gap.
As usual youâve have nothing.
Your some soup taker.
The irfu and Leinster aligned with the SDM are destroying rugby in the other three provinces and all you can nod along saying itâs fair because of some made up rules.
Soup taker from the lad non-stop bleating that he wants more soup handed out ![]()
You have to admit itâs fairly bad that thereâs pretty much a ten year gap between the last crop of international class players contributed by Munster (earls, pom, Murray, zebo) to now when theyâre beginning to contribute players again (really just Crowley so far, Casey coming through but will be overtaken, and Ahern an exciting prospect).

Iâm not looking for more.
Iâd spend Abrahamâs wage on era in the squad where itâs needed.
Why has it taken Munster ten years to produce Crowley, the first real international class player theyâve produced since earls, pom, Murray, zebo?
Craig Casey would have been plenty for the last 3 or 4 years if it wasnât for Gibson park being brought in from outside the system.
Tom ahern is nearly 25 and nearly missed two seasons which is why he played so little for Ireland.
Munster produced plenty of players.
Nash and Daly would have plenty of Irish caps if it wasnât for Lowe and Hansen.

Sexton made his Leinster debut in 2007. He was finally replaced in 2024.
17 years later.
Elite level players are hard to come by for everyone.
I donât think Casey or Nash are top international players. Daly is nowhere near it. Ahern has time, it takes really really tall players longer to develop (non-scientific personal observation).

Caught out talking rope again after a bowl of SDM soup earlier.
Munster are producing plenty of players. Itâs a myth created by Leinster fans they arenât.
Youâre talking horseshit, youâve no facts to support you.

Yes there is.
Munster had zebo and Earls on the wings for 7 or 8 seasons.
They then produced Daly and Nash who are fine players.
Thatâs the way things break.
Producing top level players is very tough.
Leinster have had Dave Kearney and larmour in the last ten years after Horgan and say Denis hickie.
Nobody find its easy to find those very elite level players.
You keep referring to a 28 year old with two caps from give years ago. Not an international class player. Munster contributed earls, Murray, pom and zebo all at the same time, top class players. About a decade later Munster contributed Crowley, who I think is international class. Thatâs a very big gap.
