I saw some bottles with a small circular ‘R’ sticker. I suppose the barcode has to be programmed into the system.
Why can’t they do that with cans?
Because he says it wouldn’t pay him to unpack all the cans, sticker them and repackage them.
I’m not sure what the issue is… We fill the bottles ourselves at a farm
But he can do it with bottles?
Whoever he is.
Glass bottles aren’t an issue sure
Plastic bottles kid.
I’ll keep a close eye out for a photo opportunity.
Do you buy much beer in plastic bottles?
He’s a 2 litres of Linden Village man
I don’t but I believe they sell it over in Poland.
Eamon asleep at the wheel again.

God forbid there should be planning regulations.
It’s ok. The peat burning station in Shannonbridge has been converted to Kerosene. 7000 litres per hour is all any of the 10 generators use at any time.
No ashes I guess.
I bought cans of Estrella Galicia in Dunnes there, they don’t have any deposit return logo and I was charged the deposit so looks like a bit of leeway may be given on this now.
Allowed do that until June 1st

New law coming soon to speed things up
Went to the return scheme there a few minutes ago with a few plastic bottles. A lad with a black bag full to the rim of cans and bottles was using it. In fairness to him, he stopped and let me in.
I asked him was he collecting them, he said he got the bag out of one restaurant. He said he opened their bin and took them. I assume it was an 1,100 litre bin as the cans were dirty and squashed.
Fuck knows how much he made. He said his friend made €470 last week collecting empties and returning them.
brilliant stuff
I saw a few lads who looked like they were labourers or something on a site with two huge bags of them, that I guess they were collecting around the site.
100 cans is only 15 euro though, you wouldn’t want to be looking that hard for them.
If you were working in a restaurant now or something, or cleaning up after a match or a concert maybe
After the Tipp match there was young lads walking out of NAP with sacks of empty cans they’d gathered.
Heard of similar at Riverfest after the run.
