That’s it, sir, you’re leaving
The crackle of pigskin
The dust and the screaming
The yuppies networking
The panic, the vomit
The panic, the vomit
God loves his children
God loves his children, yeah

This is right up there for me.

The first single from a brilliant band.

I heard this version today for the 1st time in 50+ years.
The song isn’t exactly a classic but the voice…….

Did you watch the recent movie about Dylan and Joan?

Went to see Joan Baez a number of years ago with my Dad in the docklands. Her voice was nothing like this and we were both sorry to have bothered going, as it was nothing like the video you posted

It’s on my to-do list and I field questions weekly as to my progress on the matter.
I’m aware of their connection in the 60’s and their feelings in the aftermath.

People’s voices are bound to suffer with wear and tear never mind age.

That was a great addition :muscle:t3:

Banging tune. Great band. If there was a category of under rated great band, Bloc Party would be top.

They are so good and phenomenal live.

I’ve seen them 5 times I think. Mixture of festivals and venues . Last time was two years ago. They are such a great live band. Their albums are just great but silent alarm is the business even 20 years on.

Mrs Moffat walked down the aisle to one of their songs. Caught me rotten with it.
