Mesbah has that startled look every time he gets the ball. What is a player like that doing at Milan?

Mesbah is the exact type of full back I hate. The kind that turns and passes the ball back every time he gets on it, he’s afraid to take on the opposing full back and slows any possible breakaways down. Far too lightweight as well.
I’d like to see De Ceglie get a call up to the Italian side, he’s been playing well in recent weeks and is a better full back than Balzaretti, IMO.
After a bright opening Milan have been pretty pedestrian, Juventus have probably the best defensive shape in Europe at the minute and Milan’s slow build up play is costing them. I think the most notable absentee tonight is Abate who gives them another dimension with his surging runs from full back. Mesbah needs to be taken off as he’s an accident waiting to happen. I fancy Muntari will also do something daft and get himself a second yellow before the end.

Wow. Storari should maybe have been coming for that? Mexes with the assist and Mesbah finishes with a diving header after making a great run from left back into the box.
