Is it acceptable to wear these in this day and age?
Did you ever hear of an inverted arse?
tight fitting or baggy ones?..
Neither really - just a standard fit. Found a pair of navy FCUK ones in my room earlier. They don’t look worn but they must be years old as I have no memory of buying them. Are they a “smart casual” option?
Go for it.
yes but they are strictly a winter garment…
A pair of light coloured slacks for summer then?
Galvin will pour himself into anything in the name of fashion…
As one would probably guess from my entertaining, unpredictable online persona, I’m a big fan of Corduroy trousers.
perfect…corrdouroy and wool are winter garments…
in fairness they probably go well with your mustard tweed jacket with the leather elbow patches…
this is more you…

You know me so well scumpot
Live sighting of a gimp in cords queuing for lunch here in lunchtime eatery on east side of galway city.
The worst thing about them is that they appear to be taken up as you can see the half arsed stitching about an inch up from the ends.
Its a pity really because the same chap is supporting a decent set of brogues.
I would say that cords are perfectly acceptable. I contemplated buying a pair in Tommy Hilfiger a couple of months back but their skinny bottoms did not appeal to me.
Lad I work with was sporting a beige pair of cords yesterday. He asked me if I wanted to go and grab a bite of lunch with him, but quite frankly, I would have been too mortified to have been seen in his presence in public.
I wear cords almost every day of the week in work. More formal than jeans but not as formal as slacks. Perfect for the business casual look my employer recommends.
I bought a pretty nice navy corduroy shirt recently. However I don’t yet have a suitable pair of light coloured jeans or tan pants to go with them. This is a post of relatively low importance.
