Cork GAA 2013

i

bit of hyperbole there turenne. Considering you stated over there that we would hammer the sh1t out of waterford

The flaw there was that we didn't play for two minutes the way we hurled against cork. Shocking performance. Right from the throw in players all over the field were second to the ball Team looked totally flat. Waterford s centreback left half forward and full forward line dominated the game completely waterford tipp final. Corks only hope, is if waterford don't turn up on the night.

I think i posted that at 7 o clock this morning when the disappointment was still fairly hot.

You’ll really shouldn’t get so disappointed, ye are Clare. Ye are a relatively small county and ye do phenomally well with the pick and clubs ye have in recent times.

It’s also a little bit weird. I enjoy Minor & 21’s as the skills and openness of the games, I wouldn’t be getting too depressed over a loss though.

Sounds like you are well used to watching underage Cork teams winning Kev. Bit different for younger fans like myself (can’t speakfor TAN)

FFS sake.

Nothing to do with the loss so much as the way it happened.

That’s even worse. They are 17 & 18 year olds. Shit will go wrong quite a bit with that group.

Any defence that is short of pace is going to struggle against cork
Heard michael o’sullivan played well. That would make a big difference if jimmy barry gave up one of his twinkle toes and picked him

I think TAN should be banned for being weird.

At the very least, he should be forced to post in english.

Mickee do your lot even put out teams for half of the grades underage.

There is one change from the starting fifteen that defeated Kerry in the replay, with Michael Hurley replacing Aidan Moynihan.

Also involved in the training panel are: Mark Dooley (St. Nick’s), Niall Hayes (Kilmacabea),Cian O’Donovan (Clonakilty), Damien O’Gorman (Kilmeen), Alan Power (Bishopstown), Jordan O’ Connor (Na Piarsaigh), Trevor Horgan (Newcestown).

Tipp beat us well.

The format for the minor is a joke in Munster. It turned out to be in Kerry’s best interests to lose to Cork - obviously both teams went out to win it on the night (and replay) but Kerry will be guaranteed two more games during the summer now while Cork are out.

Farce, but look they knew the rules starting, plan accordingly. This Minor team win 2 championship games, that will stand to them. They hopefully will have learned from the loss as well. Fitzgerald is a good manager and will have got alot out of them. Might be good if he moved up with them.

Midleton CBS well beaten by Thurles CBS yesterday in Rice Cup.

Not surprising to anyone paying attention to coaching in the Cork school.

They only won one game?

Thought they beat Tipp and Kerry?

They beat Kerry after a replay.
Tipp beat Clare in the 1st round.

that would suggest that tipp have a structure in place now rather than just having a group of good lads coming at the same time
