Erins Own beat those horrible Midleton cunts by 3 in the 1st round of the hurling
Would that be a bit if a surprise. Have not really noticed Erins Own recently.
Big shock alright. Mind you mark Lehane tightly and Midleton are poor enough.
Damn shame Youghal lost. Lost by five to Newtown, doesn’t bode well for the year.
What intermediate/premier intermediate clubs are there in Cork city?
Might looking to play a challenge down around there (or on the road down from Limerick).

Football/hurling?
Football
Grenagh, shower of cunts, but handy. Won intermediate last year, doing ok this year. Near Mallow
Glanworth, very good team, should win Intermediate this year. Probably closer to ye than anyway.
Mallow, one of the favourite’s for Premier this year.
Clyda, last years Premier winners, but wouldn’t be any great shakes at senior yet.
Kiskeam and Fermoy would be good games.
Kanturk are handy only they are a Junior team without the 4 Cork lads.
All those are within reasonable distance of limerick or near the corridor of the Cork-Limerick road.

Cheers Kev. Played Kiskeam before, they had a few very good players. Will look into a few of them.
Clyda are based around Mourne Abbey ya?

Ya, that’s what a lot of people call them.
We beat Kiskeam in bizarre circumstances a few weeks ago to maintain our premier status, so I think that shows how far they have reversed.
They are in danger of being relegated I’d say. We are not competitive at all this year going on results. Several Premier teams, ourselves included wouldn’t have a hope of winning the Intermediate. Same for Senior down to Prem Int. The system is flawed. You have a senior club about to go down to Div. 4 an a faint chance of a Intermediate team going to Div. 1. Makes no sense IMO.
Ya. Tend to agree. Newtown are pretty shite. If Youghal couldn’t beat them it doesn’t bode well for them. Sars should have a handy one again if they turn up.
Never underestimate the upgrade in pace and nerves. Could be flying after one game. Newtown may not be what they were, but they have savage experience.
Draw in the Minor game. Shane O’Brien went off injured, big loss, most experienced outfield player.
Four down now.
Cork penalty.
Saved and cleared.
Back to a goal in it.
Looks like we are well beaten. Sounds like Kingston, Hayes and Alan O’Callaghan played well.
Dayne Lee goal. Two in it.
