Cork GAA 2014

Who said you were arrested anywhere ya fool?

Hello i haven’t popped in here in awhile! Here is my tribute to Sean Og i hope you all like it.

People already know how big a Sean Og fan i am.The man is more than just a Cork sporting legend to me.I consider Sean Og to be a personal friend of mine even though i only met him the once at his book signing.I could go on and on but that acceptance speech. That display against Kilkenny in the 2004 all ireland. That rallying point he scored in the both the Waterford and Clare games in 2005.I remember clearly to this day cheering like a mad man when he won the county championship with Na Piarsaigh 10 years ago along with his brothers.

And the last great standout Sean Og moment in a Cork jersey that monster point against Waterford in the closing stages of the 2012 all ireland quarter final when Waterford were mounting a come back. Then i think back to the league final in 1998 and the 1999 all ireland win.All the special moments in my life these past few years have coincided with Sean Ogs highs and lows.Thinking about Sean Ogs career takes me back to when i was a 14 year old and to be honest im sad it’s all over and im sad that all these years have just flown by.Sean Ogs highs and lows have formed the background of my life since my early teenage years.I remember the days of 1998 and 1999 like it was yesterday.Sean Og the former Cork and Na Piarsaigh star will take some time to get used to.Of course there was the strikes and they will cloud some peoples judgement of the man.I certainly didn’t agree with everything that happened that time and in the aftermath. But i felt at the time and still feel that Sean Og and the players actions were driven by a great concern for the welfare of Cork hurling and GAA going forward and that they were provoked into striking three times by the county board. But my main point is that Sean Og ended his time with Cork on a high and yesterday he bowed out on a high after playing an outstanding game for Na Piarsaigh. The man on and off the pitch conducted himself with grace dignity and integrity at all times.Sean Og is a very special man who has touched manys peoples hearts all over the country nevermind Cork.

I have one last thing to say we all know about what happened to Sean Og when he made his full championship debut for Cork in 1997 against Clare. We all know what happened that day when some despicable lowlife playing for Clare that day racially abused him and called him a black cnut.We all know about how much that remark cut deep into the heart of Sean Og and everyone who knew him.It was that sense of hurt and outrage that caused one of Sean Ogs Cork teammates to hit that Clare man a punch when he ran into him.Now im not a violent man but if that former Clare player ever sees me coming down a dark alley my advice to him is to start running and start running fast.Thank you for everything Sean Og and whatever you do in the future we will be with you every step of the way.

Sean Og made his full championship debut in 96 Vs Limerick (along with Joe Deane).

but Sean Og’s a Fijian cunt inanyways

Halpin and his shit stirring siptu members and their “pay for play” caused savage damage to Cork GAA

Is the man himself still around here? That fella had plenty to say for himself after the Cork and Tipp match.I bet he isn’t so cock a hoop now.Cork won a trophy this year and Tipp won nothing!

what did cork win? womens football

Thank god JBM stayed on.He just needs to bring on board someone that can help him with the tactics now. That performance against Tipp wasn’t a true reflection of this teams ability? The footballers would have an excellent chance of an all Ireland if they had a manager that was any good as opposed to an incompetent and naive rookie.Who treats his players like children and berates them in public. But the players seem to be too meek to stand up to him.The footballing set up is a disaster which will be confirmed when all the dual players opt for the hurling. He agrees to dual players and now he will be losing the whole lot of them. Some operator is that Brian Cuthbert.

put a zip in it, its always someones fault with you cork wingers, go on away out and have a strike there for yerselves

that’s a clamping.
Mike Houlihan cut him to pieces in the park, i was on the Blackrock end

Yeah that buffoon Frankie Carrol gave him a crack in the ribs with the hurley. However 3 all ireland medals later it’s fair to say that Sean Og had the last laugh!

Rumour for a while now has been that Keanneally has walked as U-21 coach. Dunno if true or not.

Keaneally gone from the U-21 job. I assume that is the end of him, thank fuck.

Will be interesting to see who comes in. Likely a recent or near recent player.

I don’t know what you are trying to say. My point before the game was that Tipp are way better than Cork. This was proven by the game itself and will continue to be proven over the next 5-10 years

I think the lay off affected the team big time. The problem with Tipp is that they don’t have the cojones to beat Kilkenny when it really matters and you’re 4 years worth of beatings to them only reinforce my point!

you did as a matter of fact.

You judgemental prick, who is to say the life you espouse as high standard is any greater than the one you deride? Given you’ve been arrested in a few countries for fighting and acting like a thug you have some neck to be judging anyone you horrible bastard.

Who was talking about you pal?

You thundering fucking stook.

Interesting that you would think that.
any idea why the lay off wasn`t enough for ye to beat dublin last year , it took a sending off as well ?

or was it just the lay off that did for them.

I assume you wouldn`t be of the view that Anthony Daly is a better manager than jimmy barry and had his team right for the semi final last year while jimmy got it wrong this year
