Weird he felt the need to announce days in advance that he was going to make an announcement about it. Did he announce it live on Cork radio this morning like x-factor or something?
That’s good for the game. Good hurler is Walsh. And in fairness he is making hurls for a living.
He’s on the Ireland panel heading to play Australia and will be a good swan song for him and his intercounty footballing career.

Good news for Cork Hurling. Thought he offered more to the hurlers than the footballers. The Tipp match was a joke but that was as much a tactical failure than anything else.
Afaik Eoin Cadogan is going hurling as well, or that’s what I heard. I assume Collins will be football. So that should be 4 out of 5 to hurling.
