Cork GAA 2016

I must head off here and do a few bits lads.

Nobody should take their internet defeat to me today to heart. We all live to fight another day. Just learn from it. Perhaps I will hold another schooling session in the future on another thread far far away.

Mesmerizing.

Its not that much of a shock. Kerry were blessed to beat Cork at Minor last year when both teams had their best sides in years and Munster was clearly atrong, the year before they didn’t play, the year before that Cork were very good again and went further than Kerry. Corks best player from last years Minors could not make the team.

Kerry also were significantly younger. And of course Kerry could easily have taken it. Point being this is not like absolurely nobody put money on Cork. Not to mention it was foolhardy from the Limerick selectors to do so based on having seen 1 of the 2 teams.

And only saw 1 team.

Hreat night for Cove.

Still dancing to my merry tune hours after…ah lovely…

The lads on proc quoting you now Kev. Poor uninformed bastards.

Will be interesting to see if Kingston goes after him, or if he plays hurling for the U-21s. Sean O’Donoghue is involved with the senior hurlers so maybe Kingston is ok with the younger lads playing some Football and hurling at the same time.

On what? Link?

What’s at play here, pal?

Stevie Mac out for 8-10 weeks.

Whats wrong with him?

Shoulder injury maybe? Not sure.

Broke a bone - reported as his elbow. Tough break for him as captain

Ballymartle beaten by two points by Avondhu last night in the opening senior championship game. Kieran Morrison half-back for Fermoy, is he not well into his thirties or am I confusing him with someone else?

Assuming you are talking about the lad who played for Cork in mid 90s??

Strongly doubt it’s him. He was from a neighbouring club to Fermoy. St Catherines. Not even in avondhu division I don’t think. Also would be in his 40s now. Was ahead of me in college.

Spot on I’m sure Gil, St Cathrines are in Imokilly. I’m well out of the loop these days.

Good to see five Fermoy lads and five Mallow lads on the team, two big towns that need to do more for Cork GAA.
