Its not that much of a shock. Kerry were blessed to beat Cork at Minor last year when both teams had their best sides in years and Munster was clearly atrong, the year before they didnât play, the year before that Cork were very good again and went further than Kerry. Corks best player from last years Minors could not make the team.
Kerry also were significantly younger. And of course Kerry could easily have taken it. Point being this is not like absolurely nobody put money on Cork. Not to mention it was foolhardy from the Limerick selectors to do so based on having seen 1 of the 2 teams.
And only saw 1 team.

Will be interesting to see if Kingston goes after him, or if he plays hurling for the U-21s. Sean OâDonoghue is involved with the senior hurlers so maybe Kingston is ok with the younger lads playing some Football and hurling at the same time.

Strongly doubt itâs him. He was from a neighbouring club to Fermoy. St Catherines. Not even in avondhu division I donât think. Also would be in his 40s now. Was ahead of me in college.
