Cork v Clare again no please no

@twiceasnice97 what’s your opinion on Jon Cronin as an inter-county hurler now?

He is miles away from being one.

footballers at 3 and hurlers at 5 saturday

He is a try’r but fucking hell things are bad.

He honestly would not have made the Imokilly teams in the 90’s

Hilarious draw for our lot, win and we play Fr O’Neills, lose and we play Douglas and probably Ballygarvan.

Ya i’d be throwing that game if there was any doubts on players etc.

Are Charleville any good?

I heard from a hurling man from that general area that they were the best intermediate champions (2nd tier intermediate) in a long time last year and that they would be well able to play senior hurling. They’ve had a mixed year so far in Championship.

Why didn’t they go up to premier?

Charleville are premier intermediate

Sorry, misread it .

They were beat in an AI junior final on 2012 by a KK crowd so gone from junior to premier intermediate since then. They are going well. Good hurling country with Cville, ballyhea, Newtown, dromina Kanturk, meelin, all intermediate or higher, clubs in N West of the county.

Very good. They might be struggling to get ip to speed but their hurling is excellent. They are a bit of a throw back. Not that particularly athletic but a real “hurling” team if that makes any sense?

Yeah, they are faves to go up senior this year. Only a matter of time.

It must be strange in Kilmallock to see a decent team over the road.

Really? any fella in Kilmallock wouldn’t need that long of a memory to recall an AI winning club side over the road. :joy::yum:

Newtown is miles away.

Sure it is! I actually had in my head it was Kilmallock they hammered in Munster final that year but it wasn’t was it
