Its all useless unless they put the right people in charge at Minor/21/senior.
This kind of talent has been there for 15 years. Its always there.

And u14 is not an indication of anything. If you retain the entire squad (like this years minors) you are absolutely certainly losing a tonne of talent. If you mix it up there is a load of lads not getting the (supposed) great coaching.
Develooment squads are flawed in big counties. Really suitable for the likes of Killkenny. But not Cork
Itâs only in the last 3 years that they have become unstoppable. This sort of domination is unprecedented in these competitions and they are winning all the B competitionsâ too. Moya and fucking Cha would be able to manage a minor all Ireland out of this lot. I genuinely think Cork are going to dominate hurling in the next 15 years
Moya
Development squads are of limited value in any county because of limited access to the players. However from what I can gather Cork are finally harnessing all the good hurlers in the county. 240 clubs is it? And from what Iâm hearing there are good hurlers in a lot of them.v
Cork will leverage playing numbers in hurling and do what Dublin have done in football.
whatâs the correct spelling? I was thinking I had it wrong
Only messing kid. Itâs Miah, short for Jeremiah.
Miah Dennehy is possibly the best known.
Not really 240.misnomer.
About 90-100 genuine hurling. Still significant of course.
Serious pool of players. Continually putting together average IC panels.
What do you mean by genuine hurling?
As in only hurling? No football?
How many more are dual?
informative rating.
Quite alot are dual, , but only in name. Many in East Cork, parts of North Cork and Mid-Cork would be âdualâ but would not make an effort for football beyond u16/minor. Blarney and the likes donât train whatsoever for football unless out of hurling. And i say fair enough.
More or less tge same on the opposite side in football. Although hurling has grown somewhat in a few traditional football towns to be fair. Clon, Bantry & Dunmanway are all making an effort.
You wonât get any dosagreement here
I was in Cork there a week or two ago.
Its an absolute GAA monster.
It has to turn sooner or later. No more than most places, county board is key.
Yip. Shit rolls down hill.
Of course the players are there, they always are. Just takes organisation.
Five city teams and three East Cork ones in the quarters of the hurling. Looking like a Midleton/Glen final.
Indication of where hurling is and who has been.putting in the effort. Great to see Barrs and Blackrock make progress.
Ballinora won Mid-Cork Junior A title tonight winning in dramatic circumstances beating Blarney by 2. Much the better side generally but a Blarney goal with 11 left made it very nervy and they needed 4 late points in awful conditions from an 18 year old. Good game all things considered. Got a few monkeys off their back as well mentally.
Up against it against Mayfield in County Semi though who are probably favourites for county.
Are Blarney junior? Not long since they won all Ireland intermediate
No their 2nd team. They will be rattling Prem Intermediate again in next couple of years. Very good young players. In Prem 2 Minor final and Prem 1 u21 semi. Their team last night was essentially an u21 team with 3/4 older lads.
