The Cork Senior Hurling team to play Waterford in the Allianz Hurling League Div - 1A on Sunday 25th February in Pairc Ui Chaoimh @ 3pm has been announced as follows.
Trying to fit Joyce/Coleman/Ellis in somewhere. Looking a lot like its going to be Browne and O’Mahony in the the half-back line which is fairly ballsy. Cahalane to come back as well, quite a jigsaw.
Christopher Joyce has been dominated in the last two league games. His place must be under threat with players to return and if they want to go with a new player or two in that area.
It’s all a much of a muchness player wise as far as I can see. Big worry is that the likes of Meade, Fitz, Coleman and Kingston struggles to improve on last year.
Why would you not play Coleman half back?

Meade - definitely moving forward
Kingston - Too big. Gone way back. Looks like a player doing too much strength training and not enough power training. Not worthy of place on panel now. Way way off.
Coleman - No line of form at all
Same again would do ok for Coleman and fitz really considering they are still young. Kingston is a concern alright.
Im hugely biased but I think McLoughlin is a fella who didnt get a look in last year who is worth a few runs in MF or half forward line. Form is unreal and he is a very accurate shooter in general
He can’t turn. He is a straight line guy. I would certainly consider him for midfield. Himself and Fitzgibbon would be seriously big, dynamic and Athletic. If you had someone like lorca coming in to a broken game with his accuracy and athleticism then you will be staying competitive around the middle for entire games
