Harks back to a different time when the Cork hurling championship was hotly contested and drew massive crowds to the big games, an anachronism if you will, not something youād hear used today except in an ironic way

The end game for @Bod95 here Iād suspect is to have the Limerick Senior Hurling Final now named as the new āThe Little All Irelandā. Traditions as you said built up over a period of 4 years since the summer of 2018.

Itās always been a big deal, senior county championships are not to be sniffed at, the crowds arenāt what they were but I suppose thatās replicated everywhere due to competing ways to spend a Sunday afternoon.
The little all Ireland thing isnāt used anymore I assume, but a county final between two big city clubs will catch the imagination

I think they were saying they havenāt even been in a final since 93.
Most of those players are physically big men too, a lot of athleticism as well as hurling. Should be a decent final, youād think. Blackrock obviously have the two dangermen inside in Connolly & Cotter.
