Great game. O’Donoghue was brilliant. Lyons was lucky Castlemartyr didn’t score that penalty. Never a penalty.

Fuck Dripsey

SOD was good but he wasn’t within the top three players for Iniscarra.

Will be interesting to see how Iniscarra go in Munster/All-Ireland. You’d imagine those two games will stand to them hugely.

Up your bollix dripsey.

Some achievement for a small club if my beloved hometown can manage to get up into senior in both grades. Third time lucky hopefully. No way should they be as strong favs as they are with few injuries in the camp

I don’t know what game you were watching.

Why, because they are a junior club playing at an intermediate level?

Really think he’s an average ref.

Thought Inniscarra’s tactic of keeping O Donoghue away from Joyce was very clever as the wing forward was well able down the centre. Joyce was very quiet and failed to get any grip on the game whatsoever. Wonder should they have brought him to midfield or something to get him into the game. Easier said than done when he’s needed there to mop up ball.

Enjoyable game overall. Castlemartyr will be sick though. Between the missed free last week and some fairly brainless forward play they pissed it away twice when luck seemed to be on their side more than Inniscarra. Their number 12 is a beautiful stickman but Jesus he must be so frustrating to play with as a teammate.

Joyce has played too many games in past 18 months. He could do with a good break.

Yeah I especially thought last week he looked tired.

Joyce played a load of ball.

Ryan, the full-forward and O’Leary were all better than SOD.

I assume they will get hammered out the gate at intermediate AI level then.

Maybe, but if you watched enough of C’Martyr you’d know he had hardly anyone better than himself to pass it off to, particularly with our 11 well watched by Iniscarra and Brian Lawton barely able to run.

Wouldn’t say a load. Did a bit of mopping up but you’d have hoped he’d have stamped his name of the game more. Looked a lad half burnt out. Thought he was caught ball watching a few times too. Got caught out badly in the first half when his man looped behind him and were it not for a great save it could have been game over as Scarra were on a roll at the time.

Not going to criticise him too much though, he’s a lovely young fella and he’s been central to many of the best days I’ve had as a Cork fan over the last few years.

You might be right here, can’t remember.

All in all I thought he played ok - I will say I think at IC level he should be midfield, not 6. But we are badly stuck for a center-back so it hardly matters.

Praise the lawd :raised_hands:
