I’d say the local big town club would be quite divisive in areas like that, Lehane is the kind of player that would frustrate you sometimes of course, but his style of hurling always made him popular in the terraces when he’s on his day, there wasn’t much complaining among people who knew what they were talking about when he was recalled, his club form merited it
That’s the fella. Has proper notions of himself. Was bull thick he wasn’t given the senior gig when Kingston could have left after the first year of his comeback. Word was he a complete and utter cunt of a selector, undermining Kingston, telling some players to disregard what Kingston and co were saying and to play his way. Sneaky stuff. Thought all along he was odds on to get the gig after Kingston was going because he didn’t think Pat Ryan would be healthy enough after his personal issues and fancied himself over Pat Mulcahy. Has gone back now licking his wounds taking over Castlelyons who are in the 3rd grade of Cork club hurling. Have yet to meet a man with a nice word to say about him without a huge caveat being there.

I agree. It’s the lads outside the county that abuse him for the most part.
Hoggy was wrong to do the interview, or at least say what he said.
Say it when your career is over but don’t say it now if you had an issue with other Cork forwards being selected ahead of you.
He deserved to be dropped from the 15, most definitely.

Fuck it, he is far from the biggest issue. If Cork bad a few more backs and midfielders and ball winners as good as he is at what they do, they’d be flying it. The likes of himself and Kingston are no issue.
