Cork GAA - They're going home! - sponsored by Sports Direct and Super Valu

I see our Cork Minor hurlers are dominated by lads who played for Midleton CBS and Youghal in the Harty - doesn’t inspire confidence.

You realise that Harty is U19 and minor is U17 right? You really are Mr. Brightside.

Cheers mate. You realise the other Minor teams will be full of lads who went to Thurles, Cashel, Flannans and Ard Scoil?

Schools isn’t the major indicator at all that it once was.

You just don’t get it fella.

Even in our darkest days we weren’t that negative

Would I be right in saying that bar injuries, that’s pretty much it?

That’s how panels work in general, Mike

You know what I was getting at

Unless they dig up and reanimate Christy Ring, yes, that is it.

I’m not sure what are you getting at, but Pat Ryan has basically tried everyone in the county. There isn’t anyone absent from the panel who should be there.

About 15 or so injuries in fairness

Looking forward to the game later. In saying that, do we even want to win? Sounds like Limerick are basically peerless and even stronger this year than last year and a hammering in two weeks in a league final won’t do this young, inexperienced team much good (although I suppose it’ll give them a good idea of what is expected) a couple of weeks before championship.

In saying that, another game to get the likes of TOM and Horgan game time would be advantageous.

Our star player Casey injured I see, along with another starter Hallahan (Douglas). Otherwise it’s full-strength afaik.

3 starting from the Charleville area is good to see. No doubt Newtown will be sniffing after the Dromina lad.

A lot of size in that team. Should be a decent group of players. Some very very good players not even on the bench.

Surprised Dooley and Patrick Walsh aren’t starting also.

some representation from Killeagh

Savage. And I’d say kiltha og is only a stones throw

Kiltha Óg is Castlemartyr and Dungorney
