Literally out of nowhere at the time I’d assume. Was he hurling in UCC too.

He was a decorated underage hurler. Played harty with farna, cork minor, u21 and Fitz.

The dentistry destroyed him as a hurler

Cork could learn a lot about hurling from other counties actually. It gives you an insight into the mindset there, which I would think is a fair obstacle to success for Cork

I was young, was his first year with seniors I assume and what a debut season it was. Everything he touched that day turned to gold.

Is there an article on him from a few years back, I vaguely remember one. 5-14 in 10 appearances was some going.

His career took over after winning all ireland. Hurling was a different game back then. Timber was not spared.

The Corkies took it out of context.

How has Ronan McCarthy got another 2 years? Madness.

Dunno how other counties are supposed to compete with the likes of Cork and Dublin with their large playing pool and their EPL style sponsorship deals

Cork should immediately draw down that €2m (along with the bonus money) to pay down stadium debt.

66% of it should go directly to the stadium.

He’s taking over Cork

Disgraceful to see Cork taking the 30 pieces of silver to do a grubby deal with a company who treat their employees like dirt.

Frank Murphy was a man of principle and would never have agreed to such a deal.

You were cool with the FAI doing it?

Billionaire tax exiles is probably the only way.
