I disagree. Wasn’t this known by the delegates and Cork GAA circles for some time? Its been talked about for ages. I’d have no strong feelings on Cork or Cork GAA, but Kevin O Donovan seems a well clued in sort and I dont think many outside the precious GAA media hacks would be too bothered about this sort of thing.
I think this is the nub of it, its no big deal really. Surely Netwatch Cullen Park is preferable to Dr Cullen Park or does it even matter?
What has Archbishop Croke done to warrant the huge honour he has in our association for time immnortal?
Most of these clergy figures were aware of child abuse more than likely

Unsure if he was, more of a ardent supporter of the Land Leagues if memory serves me correctly and took serious issue with Parnell and the Lady Kitty, but regardless, the time has come to consider a rename of the Stadium in my mind.
It’s beautiful too that the stadium is going to be called Supervalue Park when in actual fact the cost of the place has nearly sunk them.

I don’t think county boards really can “go out of business”. It would set an interesting precedent alright though. Maybe they could sell off all the assets and relocate Cork GAA to somewhere like Cavan and rebrand them as the Border Rebels.

Not sure what Martin is bleating on about. I’d be very worried this could be used as a stick to get the Govt to clear the PUIC debt.

All these big successful companies want to give us money for shag all, desperate situation! Imagine the rights fee they can drive when they start punching their weight again.
Surely wouldn’t hurt an enterprising local politician to suggest the state buys Pairc Ui Rinn as a municipal venue and solves the Cork Co Board’s financial in de wan stroke
