Also the ‘trials’ are often on the 4g, what type of player excels on that?

Might it be worth trying Coleman corner back? He’d take a lot of pressure off the keeper on puckouts. They’d also have his delivery and ability to drift up the field and arrive late.

He’d be an even bigger liability at corner-back then at half-back.

Fella told me that in both 20s panels they have 33 or 34 players involved in training etc…if you don’t make the match day squad you aren’t on the bus, not in the dressing room, not at the team meal etc…heading into the game like any other spectator…coaching team tried to get them added but co board refused…id fucking pay the few hundred myself to cover the costs if that is the issue…disgraceful short sighted rubbish

That’s all true.

He isn’t a defender, he is a ball player. You could only play him as a nominal corner back in a match where you know he is going to be the free man.

That’s a lovely bit of anecdotal evidence. I know someone whose kid is involved in the 15s and he speaks highly of it.

Initially it thought it was 2 players you were talking about :flushed::grinning:

Sure there’s surely a place in the backroom for people who haven’t played hurling??

Some familiar names here.

You’d be better off playing him in goals.

SOD 6 and Hayes 7. Clueless.

Do you think? Maybe specialist people but at minor i’d have my doubts.

Next week will be massive. Cork/Tipp in Thurles is its own thing, doesn’t matter how bad Tipperary have looked so far.

Apologies if posted elsewhere. Horgan running foul of the stewards before the game.

Blanket rule across all grounds. One of those odd GAA decisions.

He should have brought a rugby ball he’d have been grand

If cork beat tipp, waterford will have to get something from their last 2 games to make top 3.

You’d hope Waterford play like they have to get a result from those games. I’ve never seen us beat Clare in Ennis.

Prunty is a big loss if unavailable.

It’s a big ask for Cork after the effort put in yesterday. Lots of sore bodies. The extra week is massive.
