Cork GAA Thread 2015

In many ways this is their lowest hour. The mending trying to be done by “normal” people behind the scenes is supposed to be phenomenal as a lot of the teachers, who would be club members and Cork supporters as well you would assume, wanted to bring the CB down with it. Its Frankly unbelievable that some people are that ignorant, that small minded and that bitter. Frankly its astonishing, to be frank about it.

I was personally involved in an incident (bizarre to even call it that) that cost my team a game in Pairc I Ring as well. Someone remind me to tell the story in about 6-7 weeks time when its safe. Its bananas.

Good spot

Maybe he sees for the sham that it is and didn’t want to go?

Fairly spectacular day for Corks hurling development squads. Winning every tournament they entered 7/7. U14 a & b, U15 a & b, u16 a & b and u17.
Most games won by large margins.

With them getting a few things sorted at minor we may be turning the corner. The u21 selection of management’s is still a huge issue, but one step at a time I suppose.

Be afraid.

Well Done Frank.

The underage structures Frank Murphy has put in place are reaping dividends.

It certainly looks that way… What a visionary.

Frank always has the last laugh.

Jimmy Barry-Murphy has resigned as Cork manager.

He dragged every last drop out of the current cork squad over the last couple of years. Five seconds away from winning the AI in 2013.

It’s a pity more figures in the GAA don’t have his humility. Best of luck to him.

Could be a few barren years for Cork. But young players coming through will get them back in four or five years. Clever lad might wait to be manager after next.

Next cork manager who is oy??
