I would have reservations about the business management heads of selection group. Great guys but a (dare I say it) sheedy or pat gilroy or the likes would be of huge benefit on that. Who is looking at it analytically? Who is involved in real high performance in the last 3-4 years? Nick Murphy would have been exposed to it with CC and Aidan O Connell et al so that’s something.
No point in looking for high performance people if you are not going to know what it looks like. Presentations etc would be a far better set up. Interviews are a farce
I can’t wait to see the horror on Mulcahy’s face in early March on the sidelines, looking sheepishly up at rain clouds. Then when the precipitation comes, the little children screaming in horror as the fake tan runs from his greasy head & face.
players from tracton and bally somewhere on the squad as well. it hardly matters how many from ech place is on the team in a given year so much as the fact that players from those clubs are in the school so they are available to play .
Are you trying to tell me lads from Ballymartle, Tracton and Cobh regularly go to Rochestown, a Cork City school?
They are anomalies, sons of teachers or the odd past pupil.
Reality is the cork city schools club representation is much lower than other schools in the Harty and they are at a disadvantage player wise in comparison to even the likes of Caimins, never mind Thurles or Asr.

He left Limerick did he not? Saw he was replaced a few days ago.
He might be a bit like John Allen. But from what I heard he is very reliant on a good trainer, he had seanie McGrath for a good while and he was basically copying Seanie’s work.
Frank will have the final say and it will be a former hero. There is alot of snobbery in cork hurling and it’s costing them dearly.
