Someone else should be taking them them if a fella can’t manage it. I didn’t agree with the rule change last yr but if it’s made it should be enforced.
The one on one will be v interesting and I think like soccer a lot of keepers will have to take a chance and dive early and hope to guess right
Daniel Kearney is a super player.
Cormac Murphy had a decent game but then under a ssmall bit of pressure he played a most beautiful pass to the unmarked Jamie Barron leading a goal that brought ucc right back in to the game
Corks striking was very good for the time of the year though
ucc will go in to the fitz as favourites I imagine considering they have Conor lehane Shane O’Donnell John power and Alan cadogan to come in as far as I know .
The more I think about this one, I can’t believe they are turning this lads head before a Harty game, not to mention the physical dangers or an 18 year old playing his first senior game tired.
It’s mind boggling.
@Midshipman Asha is David Glynn any good full back? Has been starring for UCC for years seemingly. Never seems to get a look in with the county

His name came up this time last year too and this year it’s even more critical, I reckon they just don’t rate him. They are training the U21’s with the seniors this year and brought about 40 lads in for testing
I saw him with Dicksboro twice this year, John Maher from Martins pretty much roasted him in that match. John Maher is about 36 I think

‘Cubby’ has really mugged off Kev.
Indeed, Kev was expecting great things that haven’t and won’t materialise.
No i wasn’t, i predicted on here that Cork would be relegated more than likely in the league. I was hopeful last year that with the talent available we would be a force, however i was dismayed with the approach and the general management looked haphazard.
What i heard about the year since has been shocking. How were we to know someone who was excellent with Minors would continue to treat adults as Minors as well? And that he was basically going to ignore all the others coaches and advice.
I know one central player strongly considered not playing this year, and may yet pull out. Cork are going nowhere.
Conor Counihan wouldn’t allow the dual players play hurling so Cubby was appointed to facilitate this.
A Job well done - perhaps too well.
