Cork v Clare MSHC Semi Final 2014

Watch out you Clare buckos were coming to get ye!

Ara, we won’t keep it pucked out to ye.
We already have the eye on the qualifiers, Hopefully we’ll get a soft touch, one of the football counties like Tipp or Laois.

Not sure how this will go, Davy Fitz won’t be overly bothered by the result you’ll imagine. Don’t think either manager will be devastated if they go through the qualifiers. Avoid a lot of the hype if you go through qualifiers as well.

Wouldn’t mind a draw and replay, the more games the better.

No beating them would be good. Too many losses to one team can ruin confidence. You start believing you are not good enough and will never beat them.
But you are right also in the sense that it doesn’t really matter in All Ireland terms.

Terrible fashion faux pas by Davy there all the same but.

“look up there now at the scoreboard Jimmy…”

You gotta love the way the Cork lads run down Munster when they aren’t able to win it.

Didnt you hear, a Munster Championship is as worthwhile as an FBD League. Keep up.

Important to win - nobody wants to have to play Dublin in a qualifier in Parnell Park or play KK anywhere in a qualifier

Whoever wins has a gimme for the Munster Final against a rubbish Limerick outfit who couldn’t beat Offaly.

if cork cant beat Clare after having 2 prep games they might as well disband now. Losing for them IS the end

Not really but whatever you say mate.

Yes its real alright, you can stamp them all as proven failures and start again.

Jesus wept

are the flags up around Pilmore buddy?
you must have had great banter yesterday laughing at those cunts over the bridge in Ardmore

Agreed. The winner basically goes straight into an All Ireland semi-final. I’m not sure how the boys think that JBM or Davy Fitz would rather be traipsing around provincial grounds in tricky qualifier matches.

They love traipsing around to Mickey Mouse games in holes of venues, didn Kev tell us all about how these managers love nothing better that standing beside the 3 men and a dog who go watch Fitzgibbon games?

Rate it dumb all you like. Davie Fitz sides are always vulnerable in July and often sluggish. I thought you’d have learned your lesson from last year but its clear you’ve not. I will repeat, if Cork cannot beat Clare Sunday you can draw a line through this Cork side because I can guarantee you 100% they wont do it in Aug/Sept
