Cork v Tipperary

I think forward work rate is certainly a factor and something thats easily fixable for Tipp.

Ellis is a great athlete ourside of hurler

44 years this year?

Similar sentiments.

I am someone who these days needs a team to show ne something before i blindly follow tgem.

Suitably impressed today. Alot of boxes ticked

It’s an added bonus that another tedious installment of Tipperary v Waterford, hurling’s most boring pairing, has been prevented and replaced by a classic Cork-Waterford pairing.

Cork were always going to win today, because Cork are Cork.

The head to head is now 38 wins each with seven draws. Cork have more Munster and all Ireland titles as you’d expect however.

Credit to Cork, simply outstanding effort & economy of play.

Kingston rightly mugged the majority off the Cork hurling support today.

Have had a few work dealings with Kingston.

A gentleman.

The last four in this year’s All-Ireland championship will be Cork, Clare, Wexford and Dublin.

The weakness in the Tipp FB line in the league final was confirmed today. If O’Keefe is preferable to Cahill, Tipp have massive problems. You have to question the Tipp sideline given the roasting their backs were getting, assume they believed they would win a shootout.

Well done to Cork, a great effort and didn’t drop the heads after the Tipp goal.

Tipp full back line got two early yellows. That softened their cough for the game

Tipperary.

Where to start?

Gleeson. - simply not up to it at the moment. Can’t be mentally right.
O’Keeffe - bombscare & lucky to last the 70.
Barry - well below par.
Barrett - under fierce pressure in the 1st half but was well on top before injury.
Kennedy - stuck to the ground, going backwards fast.
R Maher - cruelly exposed for pace.
P Maher - shuffled all over half backline but couldn’t put out every fire.
B Maher - good 1st half, quieter in the 2nd half.
Curran - unlucky to be called ashore I thought.
Breen - couldn’t really do much more, carried the fight to Cork.
McCormack - few points from play but use of possession is frustrating.
N McGrath - again a few points but invisible in the 2nd half.
Bubbles - great 1st half but nowhere to be seen in 2nd half.
Callanan - goal chance will haunt him but great pass for McGrath goal.
J McGrath - bar the goal, useless. Lucky to play entire game.

Management
Joe O’Dwyer deemed not good enough to start ahead of O’Keeffe?
Where were our FF line in the second half?
Cleaned out under every puck out in the second half but Steven O’Brien not worthy of a run?

I’m totally at a loss as to the alarming regression on view in our last 2 outings. The panel is decent, the management have proven their worth but what the fuck is going on?

Not the first time he’s been caught out by something that bounced.
