Cork v Tipperary

Barrett is a much better corner back than Connors, so is/was Cahill. Paul Murphy isn’t a great man marker

Who did Conor McGrath destroy in an Under 21 game?

Yes.

I was halfway through reading a sentence just now when it disappeared :hushed:
Did you say something you shouldn’t have?

I was trying to remember when Cahill might have marked him. I do know McGrath started against Tipp in the 2010 final, which Tipp won by about five or six points, but bar a goal, don’t remember him scoring much from play.

I can’t find an article on that match for some reason? There is a picture on sportsfile with the tipp team there, looks like Cahill with a white helmet at his feet wearing 2. McGrath scored 4/5 points from play that day too from the half a dozen balls played his way

There you go:

1-1 from play.

Cahill wore 4 that day, but I think you’re right in saying he lined out at 2. I don’t think 1-1 constitutes destroying a corner back.

Cahill.

Ah don’t do that to him mate, he’s been referring to McGrath “destroying” Cahill in that game for a few years now.

Kevin O’Gorman, Cahill’s Sars clubmate was at 2.

As you can see in this pic, Cahill is clearly wearing 4.

2010 - scored 1-1

DESTROYED.

Was it not the 2014 league match in Thurles where Mcgrath roasted Cahill.

McGrath had a good game in that 2010 final considering he was just out of minor and bar the first ten minutes he was starved of ball. Both him and Eoin Hayes caused Tipp plenty of problems with their directness that night despite Clare being outgunned all over the pitch.

Tipp were beaten all over the field that day.

That’s a serious clamping from @caulifloweredneanderthal

Most of which were created in 2016 with the anticipation :ok_hand:

Paddy Stapleton got roasted by McGrath in the league in two fourteen.

In the light of mounting evidence it seems I have been royally clamped here on the Internet
