Worst place I played in, albeit 10 years ago or so was Rockmount, complete shit hole. But apart from that most of the facilities were good. I play 5 a side up in Douglas Hall and they dressing rooms are tired alright but are grand. Midleton have great facilities, UEFA standard and host international under age games.

I think it’s all about the facilities, you have them right and then the best players usually follow. And I know there are exceptions to facilities and great players in the AUL but that’s what they are, exceptions. MSL all the way! Fuck that playing in Premier AUL and having to tog out at the side of the road or in a container.

I’m a traditionalist … who gives a fuck where you tog out for fuck sake… side of the road will do me fine as it has always done… I’m gonna look up the AUL league tables and go for the worst team in the whole thing… it will be a bonus if they have a field.

True enough. A strolling maestro like yourself is not going to break a sweat.

Thinly veiled I’d be royally exposed as complete dogshit in the MSL.

At the lower end of it? hardly… I’m not fit enough, nor have the time for anything higher, mate. I only want to train once a week for now to get fitness up - i’m in Limerick Mon-Thurs.

Lads can we please allow this thread revert to its original purpose?

Judging by the last number of posts it’s serving it’s purpose perfectly.

Make that two.

Counsel also handed in a letter from a friend of Tobin who described him as ā€œthe best friend you could ever wish for.ā€
The letter said that Tobin ā€œhad always been a joy to knowā€ and was a ā€œhonest, reliable, kind and trustworthyā€ person.

That extremely strange little man Rob Heffernan won some medal today for a race he ā€˜walked’ some years back. Expect this weird little creep to crop up all overt the media the next few days.

Rob is a grand fella, delighted he got his Olympic medal, I remember following that race on radio thinking he might get a medal when it mattered (2012).
I know his wife and her family quite well, her brother John Andrews was once the hottest property in Irish schoolboy soccer, played for a while in the lower leagues of England, very nice fella.

@ChocolateMice did you ever hook up with any team in Cork?

Was he done for doping in the past?

No, he’s been disqualified once or twice for breaking the rules of the sport but never doping, I’d be fairly confident that he’s clean.
