Create a bit of fear and you can make people comply with anything. From a sociological perspective it’s interesting. It’s a parallel to Nazism and Catholic Church and how societies fall into line.

the whole thing has gone fucking nuts. People queuing for hours at a fucking hardware, people ordering pints to be delivered from pubs, the amount of videos and social media shit, guards out stopping people driving, the fucking curtain twitchers reporting every cunt who goes out for a walk and so on. People have gone mental over the last two months. Proper fucking stir crazy. At least on here everyone was already mental, but its fucked everywhere now.

Pretty much everyone under 30 lost their school/college/work, social and sporting lives overnight. They essentially have little purpose bar running the odd 5km and baking a cake once a week.

Not sure if they created it. People were scared by what they saw in Italy and complied. It’s interesting is all if a bit too nuanced for some lads.
