The league of Ireland is unsustainable. Cork have one of the best support bases, and have relative success, yet every few years they are in massive financial trouble.
How many clubs are running at a profit?
The FAI is one of the most corrupt sporting bodies in existence and proven so. Their so bad the government has suspended funding, but they give more to greyhound racing. Go figure.
Ireland is for all Ireland. Not just the Dubs.

Greyhounds get 18 million
Over 500k attended greyhound meetings at tracks in 2018. That doesn’t include coursing meetings.
Greyhound racing receives funding because it generates a lot more indirect revenue for the economy.
That funding is being used to enforce regulations for dog safety and care.
Until the greyhounds speak up for it themselves I see no reason to let it continue.
