Coronavirus - Dig In, It's going to be a while yet

great new that its not spreading

wonder what the plan is now?

Herd immunity.

I don’t know.

Sit tight and see what happens. Antibody testing should see some results in the next few weeks, as well as clinical trials of different treatments. Some good news from either would hopefully help point towards an end

Anybody got the growth curve?

fingers crossed

Or a vaccine, its not going to be stopped otherwise.

Like all viruses, it’ll come back in waves otherwise unfortunately.

Ireland needs to continue to manage the rate of spread, it has to be said that these numbers are close to the best in any country.

Maybe a brief respite is in order if the numbers are still encouraging this time next week? Announce a happy hour for Easter Sunday, when everyone can go to the pub for one hour, as long as strict social distancing is adhered to.

If the plasma approach works, we will have antibodies made in the lab in record time. There are several companies, including Regeneron, with products almost ready for testing.

I mentioned Regeneron a few weeks on here as well. Hopefully that they can do something quicker than a vaccine. Antibodies could really make a big difference.

They should build estates with lower than cost price houses and interest free 100% mortgages just for young healthcare workers after this.

11% growth a day is still astronomical.
