Coronavirus - Dig In, It's going to be a while yet

Might be worth checking your health insurance. Ours comes with a free online/phone doctor consultation where they can give a prescription for a lot of medication and they email it direct to your chemist of choice. We did it the weekend just gone, saved a load of hassle, just turned up at the chemist when they told us it was ready. No cost for the prescription or call.

The case definition they were testing was so narrow that they were only looking for textbook cases. A friend of Mrs sod was on whatsapp over the weekend, a healthcare worker, she had temp, sore throat , rang NHS, was told she wasn’t a candidate for testing but to isolate for 14 days nonetheless. Her husband and two small kids have had it by now also… none of them tested either. They (UK/NHS) are vastly underestimating their infection level, the only difference between here and UK is that HSE/DoH are at least trying to find cases, they just need to strike the sweet spot, the NHS appear to have given up the ghost entirely

I’ve used the laya one before - you get 8 free sessions per year I think. And besides the awkwardness of having to crouch over the phone to have my sack checked, it was a pretty good service.

The birds are starving out here on the peninsula. There are no stupid fuckers out in Howth to throw chips at them any more. My milk delivery has been pecked open the last two days.

I’d doubt it was the first time you flashed your scrotes to the phone camera

Ireland was double that by March 31st.

Spoke with a buddy of mine who is a primary school principal earlier and he fully expects the schools to return after the June Bank Holiday weekend barring a significant set back

4244 new cases and 569 new deaths in the UK.

Bobby needs to earn his keep, time to step up

The UK will have surpassed Chinese deaths in a couple of days.

Secondary school teachers have been told they won’t be back (wouldn’t contradict with primary schools going back in June) but that they will all have to do supervision for the leaving because they are going to spread them out way more than usual. A bad year for cogging

I’d say they’ll be graded handy enough though.

Everything that happens in 2020 will have to come with an asterix

I just stuck 50 quid on Wayne Warren to win BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2020.

Some sports person will get Covid 19 and then recover to win something later on in the year and be declared a national hero

Maybe one of the jockeys in Cheltenham or something

Somebody will probably try to buy the award by donating a modest amount of money the week before nominations close.

They’ve 8 million to go
