Definite speculation. Spoke to a Secondary Principal earlier in the week and they hadn’t a scooby what was to go on. Doubt the primary ones are ahead of them on this.

It’s utterly fascinating that you still have lads arguing that the CCP are somewhat believable. On the question of how many deaths in China, nobody knows, it’s all speculation, but what we do know is that the number is whatever the CCP want it to be.
Think about the students in Tienanmen square in 1989. They were given an hour to disperse and after five minutes the CCP sent in the 27th army from Shanxi. They machine gunned and bayoneted everyone in their path, then ran then over with tanks, incinerated them and washed them down into the sewers. The Chinese Red Cross estimated 2,700 deaths, a secret communication from UK ambassador Alan Donald in 1989, which wasn’t declassified until 2017, estimated the death toll at 10,000.
China denied for years that anyone died, and finally came up with a number of 241. Whenever you think about China and how believable the CCP are, remember what they did to their own on June 4th, 1989.
