They should also be closed without warning to avoid a crowd coming in for one last drink. McDonaldâs made a big song and dance about closing up and probably made a fortune as people queued for one last Big Mac.

Dr Tony said this evening that for a lot of the patients going to ICU would not have been of any benefit to them. By the sounds of it many of them were terminal with other illnesses or were confined to nursing homes and moving from there would have caused more harm than good.
How in the name of fuck has it gotten in to nursing homes so bad
no pfziers wouldnt have allowed people into work for 14 days who had been to the UK after it was listed as a country that had cases of the Corona virus - this would have been mid march timeframe- there were similar issues in our place where lads who were shopping in newry at the weekend were asking if they needed to go home - its nothing to do with cheltenham

Fair point, though symptoms and severity of symptoms generally increase with age.
Evidence is growing that this may be airborne and can linger in the air for some period of time. Not just large droplets from someone sneezing, but just from someone talking or even breathing.
That could explain a lot of the outstanding questions.
