Every now and again the media creates “the latest challenge” Some idiot does something the media call it the latest craze and people lap it up.
Like that tide pod challenge. How many people do you think were actually dumb enough to eat a washing powder tablet? A handful maybe? Yet you’d swear every youngster in the World was chowing down on them for lunch.
Then you have all these old people saying “young people today are so stupid” when in reality they are stupid ones for believing such transparent click bait nonsense

No but we have a land border with people in lockdown now. And there is widespread support for a lockdown. We haven’t lost control the way they did but I’m not sure that’s a compelling argument to make for not going into lockdown when recent events tell us many countries did it far too late.
