They do, but the government can’t do that yet as I’ve outlined. They will when they are able.
The overarching strategy is just wait and see what happens in other countries. Next weeks plan for after April 5 will be a non event we will have Meehole making his announcement on the 6:1 news which will have been leaked well in advance as per usual and he harping on about the B117 variant being like a new virus🤦♂️

You captured that nicely, rhe goverment have lost the support of he public but a majority are still happy with nphet. The polls support this. Further delays in the vaccine along with more negativity and restrictions will see the support wain. The government won’t challenge nphet for at least 2 months and as the leaks are saying until June we will still have level 5 with the giverment challenging in mid May and lifting restriction in mid May. Not the approach I want but the most likely to occur
Yeah I think that’s about it. But I think when vaccination happens support for NPHET and a restrictive approach will wane quickly. People will want to see the benefits of it and rightly so.
There’ll be a wave of emotion when people hug their parents and their grannies for the first time in over a year and that’ll be the last we’ll hear of nphet
NPHET will ensure that that happens as late as possible.
The only thing the other parties want to do differently is that some of them want Zero Covid which is even worse

Exactly. And people will work away themselves once vaccinated because who’s going to obey the rules then. Weather improving, hospitals freed up, etc etc. It will all change quite quickly.
