Coronavirus - Here come the variants

We’re actively encouraging healthy people to get tested. If you’re sick, you are not to get to these testing sites.

Crazy.

I suppose once someone starts talking about unremovable tags for kids, compulsory vaccinations, vaccine passports, yearly mask mandates etc … ass kickings don’t just drop out of the sky

The unremovable tags for kids I can get behind.

Yes come get tested if you have no symptoms but dont get tested in one of these walk in centres if you do have symptoms. Bonkers. It will be like a human NCT that doesn’t tell you anything about your health and is totally unnecessary.

Sure the cost to tag @Locke’s would bankrupt the state

i.e. I like Luke now that I agree with what he is saying. I didn’t like him last April when he said things I didn’t agree with.

They’re from Cork, they’re never going to leave the place. Be grand.

Its important to be able to pivot on TFK.

Cowen calling for opening up to be linked to percentage of vaccinations and a road map linked to that.

He’s had a good Covid and spoke a lot of sense.

Said 5km limit is not right in a rural setting.

Pearse Doherty asked for his view - we’ll be guided by NPHET and public health advice and talks about tracing and testing.

Pearse has a very poor Covid

Luke follows the science

Brilliant analogy.

If this is the best RTÉ can come up with to keep the yoof’s spirits up, I dont blame them all for being fucking depressed.

Really? What about his mask pivot?

He’s a stark contrast to most of the academics we have who have turned into anti vaxxers so I think he’s sound

All of the science pivoted on masks. And now we have to wear a cloth over our mouths everywhere

The science changed, so he changed. Surely better than taking a dogmatic position on something even when wrong

Don’t be silly. Do you think luke could point to any chart showing the trajectory of ‘cases’ and point to where masks were introduced, or if they were introduced…or where any measure was introduced. Utter bullshit…man in a plastic bubble stuff

Bertie Aherne, George Lee, Eddie Hobbs, David McWilliams, Luke O’Neill. There all the same, celebs competing in a popularity contest. They feed off this and just go with whatever way the wind is blowing. It never ends well though. Very few of the above mentioned have kept their reputations intact and we have paid a very high price for some of their actions.

Give some examples of each of their actions that we’ve paid a very high price for.
