Coronavirus - Here come the variants

It’s only a mistake if you don’t learn from it

It’s not all cynicism and oiutf out there. Its great to see there’s still some enthusiasm for the virus.

I think he went a bit far at times but I think Varadker was right to pipe up on brexit to distinguish the impact on Ireland as opposed to general EU
it makes sense if Coveney was the one on the ground getting it done
to me Enda was the epitome of Better to Remain Silent and Be Thought a Fool than to Speak and Remove All Doubt

Border bubble ID cards. Wow. As I said its never enough. Its a frightening time to be living in this country with this level of discourse and this group will now be like a dog without a bone to push for this. Airing this out on the airwaves. Once you secede to the mob it is a race to the bottom.

ISAG basically want to turn the border counties into a glorified internment camp. With papers required to travel between zones.

I thought they were losing influence once the vaccine roll out commenced and the fact that neither the UK or EU are pursuing a zero covid policy but they obviously have the ears of someone in government.

We are not far off North Korea now

Same old tune

It will be over soon, the vaccine is being rolled out everywhere, why are we still hearing that it will never end? Shocking pessimism

I know, it’s mad.
But it’s nearly done, it won’t go on forever which is what I’m reading here, numbers will fall everywhere and the ‘need’ for quarantine is gone, thats pessimism.

It’s fairly obvious that people will be pessimistic when the government aren’t giving any indication of when a return to normality is possible, or what needs to be achieved for that to happen. Even when they release these roadmaps the lowest level is still miles away from what was general every day life
