Coronavirus - Here for life (In high population density areas)

You can’t tell me what to do.

@backinatracksuit has called a family EGM to take this challenge on.

I’m telling you, one thing Covid hates is lads getting cocky.
We saw it in Cork and Wexford too when they were sneering at all the cases in Dublin. 2 weeks later they were riddled themselves.

@flattythehurdler probably knows them.

A bit of a misleading headline I think.

A lot of backlog cases added in last week.

Ouch

The latest sample of 92 positive tests examined by the National Virus Reference Lab shows that 45pc of positive cases are of the UK variant, showing the strain’s ever-growing presence in Ireland.

The Taoiseach said the government accepted their responsibility when it came to the rapid increase of cases after the easing of restrictions, but pointed the finger towards increased socialisation and the presence of the UK variant as the real drivers of the spread of Covid-19.

Martin has to go, blaming a UK variant for it when it accounts for less than half of the cases.

Fellas went buck ape

And we still didn’t get our meaningful Christmas. Basterds

You and your UK brethren are responsible for this surge, stop trying to blame Martin.

He tried to blame the UK variant when it was responsible for 10% of the cases.

He fucked up. A shameless donkey who can’t accept responsibility for anything. He’ll be off to The White House come hell or high water on Paddy’s Day though. That’s his sole aim for the year. Vacuous cunt.

Well it was more like 50% going by the new numbers. NPHET were desperate to say it wasn’t the new variant until they figured out that it undermined their travel spiel.

In reality, it’s a few factors coming together.

About 2k of the backlog included yesterday. I don’t understand myself why they couldn’t have just cleared it in one go so people would have an accurate reflection of where we are at, but it does look like cases peaked almost exactly 10 days on from Christmas and have fallen rapidly since.

It was responsible for 10% of cases and now is up to 45%. Looks like he was right about the danger of it.

Yes he will be off the Washington for st. Patrick’s Day. A full day with the president of the USA is access no other small country has. The virus riddled UK doesn’t get that much contact with the president a year. It’s important to ireland. You’d want to be a bit dim not to see that.

How can they know exactly how many cases are back logged but just not count them
