Coronavirus - Here for life (In high population density areas)

What are the cases gonna be like on 1 Feb? We could well be looking at the end of our last lockdown

I understand the importance of Martin getting his picture taken in The White House to him personally with the taxpayer footing a bill in the millions for this vanity shoot.

A taoiseach telling everyone to give up their lives while he enjoys a junket to Washington in the midst of a pandemic with global travel at a standstill to massage his ego is as morally disgusting as it gets.

Fuck him and fuck American war criminals.

Is he going to the white house??

Of course he fucking is.

Hell or high water, he is going. This is what he became taoiseach for, the photo opportunity in the White House.

Martin is as reprehensible a political figure as there is on this land.

The daily briefings from June to October were a cod.

We should dock the teachers pay and give it to the healthcare staff. Only fair.

Its important for mom and pop stores all over the wesht

Ah hell get absolutely lambasted if he goes and there are any sort of serious restrictions in place. I’d say not a hope.

Not a hope. He’ll be there.

110%

He destroyed his own political party for this type of shit. He doesn’t give a shit.

Of course. We would be mad to miss it, we’d never get it back.

Pat Kenny went for the jugular this morning. He might as well have been pissing on his mask.

You’ll be able to have a meaningful Valentines Day.

lads have the teachers started sending any work to the kids via alladin/seesaw or whatever interface they are using yet- she is in charge of all that and tbh we have until june now for this nonsense so i think we’ll slowly build into it
i took these two out of the house today and we headed for Slane but christ driving around at 11 o clock on a monday morning in january to tourist local amenities isnt great in the pouring rain…we headed back towards blackwater park with a soccer ball , scooters and bikes for a bit before meandering around the local tesco - the older fella got stuck into a copy of kick! magazine then so we stood adjacent to a COSTA and had lunch that comprised of x2 industrial smoothies and a bag of muffins for them whilst i had cup of bilgey tea and a mozzarella and pesto heated sandwich from a bag.
despite the weather we had a great time - kids were deligted to bump into friends in the park and it gave me a bit of time to scroll thru my phone whilst feigning conversation with their parents.

back working now here - id say ill go on/off till 0100 or so

lads
anyone into birdwatching BTW
im sure there was a wren in the garden earlier

And the start of a curfew

Yes I’ve had 14 of them at my feeders over the last few days plus a blackcap which is unusual at this time of year.

luke o neill had a superb joie de vivre style thing in the Sindo yesterday where he was reminicing about lockdown 1 and how despite the fact the kids never left the garden we all had a blast as the weather was unreal.
apparantly we’re meant to wake up every day and think that this vaccine is the greatest gift of science to mankind and that will keep us going in these dark times

Well he has a point to certain extent re the weather. I was perky enough when twas still bright at 5pm yesterday. Was like a cunt this morning though at 6 getting out of the bed and it pitch out

Chuckle.
What’s the total in the 26?

There’s no lag in the system now apparently and 80% of todays cases swabbed positive in the last 3 days

FFS. That means there is a still a significant lag.
