Coronavirus - Here for life (In high population density areas)

Cough is one of the main symptoms

Yeah I saw this first hand over Christmas. 2 former classmates back living at home with the parents having lost their jobs. One broke up with his long term polish girlfriend during the past year and I’m not sure if fall out from that lead him on a spiral that also meant he lost his job. The other fella would have felt the lockdowns hard and I suspect is drinking heavily. 2 very intelligent fellas but a shadow of themselves. Both don’t have children to give them a reality check every now and again. I sense some people have lost a lot of motivation or the excitement of getting up in the morning. I had a nervous enough phonecall before Christmas as well with my own boss but thankfully wasn’t one of those impacted by restructuring arrangements.

You’ve been saving that one up

I think everyone agrees that No group has suffered more than the 18-25s. Our lives have been destroyed. It’s been an incredibly tough period and no sign of it ending either.

What are you doing about it. Any protests being organised…they’re holding raves in paris, protests across europe. Paddy is waiting for meehawl to ape boris.

The over 65s have possibly hard a worse time of it, what with the whole death thing and all.

At least they’ve lived their lives.

Very true. The best days of their lives robbed from them. The memories that everyone else rook for granted denied, a whole generation scarred for life

I dont agree. They have lower expectations. The 18-25 age group get lost quite easily.

Meanwhile my lunatic neighbour (mid 40s) is out bouncing on his kids trampoline in zero degrees.

Denied a shot at living really.

I had the whistle out this evening and held a coaching session for the 4 & 6 year old in the kitchen.

If people could be comforted by being cradled everything would be ok but we can’t cradle each other because it’s now banned.

The formative years of adluthood aka the best years of their lives, gone.

Completely overrated, apart from the riding, the drinking, the glittering sporting career(*) and the lack of responsibility
