You may be correct as per the current moment. More people are now worried. But as @Thomas_Brady said we are hitting record numbers on testing. I assume of we tested the same numbers in march April time frame when the testing capacity didnāt exist we would have seen far greater numbers.
Youād have to be a fool to believe otherwise.

I just heard a story about a woman in Roscommon. Her son is 25 and he got a positive Covid test. Heās grand. This poor old dear got so worried that the ambulance had to come and give her a sedative. I think RTE is hypnotizing the older generation.

A da at the school gate told me his aunt ended up in hollywell mental hospital. Total isolation, fear etc. Iāve a relative not to far away from a break down , a pal who has his head fried with drink etc.

Are self inflicted Colds where you go off running and sweat it out for an hour, then sit in soaking wet clothes for a half hour before going for a shower, a thing of the past?
Was talking to a junior doc at home last week. He was doing some training in psychiatry clinics in recent months. He was shocked at the number of young people coming in looking for help. No jobs, social isolation, living on their phones.

That seems to be the case alright. There seems to be quite a lot of hysteria building and authorities and politicians are just fuelling it at this stage. Statements like the above from Holohan being a prime example. What will that do to demand for tests and backlogs not to mention testing of people with the more classical symptoms.
No one cares about that. Itās all about covid
