As this goes on isolation etc is actually going to do real damage to peoples immune systems.

That’s what a lot of scientists have pointed out- this has never been tried before, and it will have consequences. There’s absolutely no chance that lockdowns can eradicate a widespread virus, if they are actually effective in controlling the spread then this control will be short lived and there’s a good chance the most virulent strains will be the ones to overcome the lockdown measure.

Most of it stems from one wedding over the Xmas.

The bride demanded that all guests not wear masks. If you wore one, go home.

50 supposed to be at hotel. 80 were there. She is a SNA. Teachers were there also. Four people already confirmed with COVID turned up. A beautician turned up with mask on and was told take it off. There were house parties after the hotel turfed them out at 10pm (original agreement had been midnight).

40 of the guests already confirmed with it. Husband from Monaghan. Guess who else had their numbers bumped in last few weeks? A factory outbreak in Drogheda directly linked to this.

Oh and the bride’s mother is a former senior nurse…

I picked it up in my thirties from a kids play centre. Got an awful dose. When I went to the doctor I was weighed to establish the maximum dosage of steroids I could be given and “Not Recommend by the Irish medical council” flashed up on the doctor’s screen as he typed up the details. I was ushered out a backdoor to avoid scaring children

It’s not that small a fucking place that it has more than one local newspaper. And a local newspaper didn’t put an investigative reporter on the job to determine why louth has 1/26, only for said investigative reporter to put together a nuala and bredaesque load of utter shite involving a meat factory and a bridezilla anti masker
