QE often leads to increases in inflation. Central Banks try to mitigate this with a rates rise. Our national debt of ā‚¬250bn and growing will start becoming burdensome very quickly.

Iā€™m confident it will more or less end by end of May but the complete row back will be slow as to do so will result in too much egg on their face.

By October George Lee will be questioning if the economic price of lockdown was too high. On that day RTƉ will be burned to the ground.

Anecdotally Iā€™ve heard there is plenty of spare beds in hospitals currently, why wouldnā€™t there be when people are scared to go in at the moment.

It was on the radio today that the Regional is the most overcrowded hospital in the country with 36 or 37 on trolleys. Not too long ago that figure would have been up around 150/180 or even 200 odd.

Why Friday?

Yes

The fucking Spanish flu was come and gone a lot quicker and was far deadlier

because it was allowed come and go

Wrong.

It was far deadlier which meant it killed people before it could reinfect others.

Also are you seriously suggesting we should let 50 million people die?
