It’s a pure cod.

It gives a post a great sense of authority when you can just reel off a load of numbers like that.

More than the population of Connacht

Outstanding

This isn’t true. All business are pretty much open including hairdressers, barbers etc. Cafes and restaurants can open outside of which many are availing of. So Kildare isn’t in lockdown.

I do agree with the overall theme of your post though.

We’re being asked by RTE to look at longer term now and two week period and one off daily rates are meaningless. :man_shrugging:t2: They moved off it fairly quickly then.

what did the last 4 tell us?

Meanwhile, in France and Spain the coronavirus daily case rate is now as high as it was back in March. But - you guessed it - the death rate is still on the floor.

That the virus is unpredictable and is always waiting to pounce.

Very astute observation and one many should be aware of.

It sounds like the boys outside the ladies jacks in Coppers

That’s a perfect description of this virus. It’s like a late 00s @Bandage.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they’ve saved a 100 cases from today and will top up tomorrows number. Nobody is watching the news today so it makes sense.
