Thinly veiled Tony was sent home with his tae in a mug

Hitting the road shortly for a cross-country essential journey. :grimacing:

Looking at the queues on Google Maps I feel Iā€™m about to see parts of Kildare and Laois I never knew existed.

RIP.

611 cases

5 deaths

Level 4 here we come

I heard a lad say we are suffering from ā€œparticipant fatigueā€

Level 5 here we come

  • 218 in Dublin
  • 63 in Cork
  • 60 in Donegal
  • 35 in Galway
  • 31 in Kildare
  • Remaining 204 are located across 21 counties (no further details given)

The Super Tony and Nphet fans are always cultish at this stage.

Is 218 better or worse for Dublin?

Worse by around 100 day on day, but @Copper_pipe always cautions against reading too much into daily movements.

Way worse. It appears level 3 had no effect for Dublin. :expressionless:

Itā€™s about 35% of the total figure.
The optics are terrible, weā€™ll be in this vacuum for decades.

What season did those deaths take place in?

Dr Cervical Check was always going to bite back after his public slapping down, by bumping up the figures.

Heā€™s releasing a good few deaths

I agree the optics are terrible. We are in the stage now where you should start to see some abatement in Dublins numbers but going on todays numbers youā€™d be worried that you could be looking at a run away train. There seems to be a serious case of Deja Vous with the nursing homes. Not many lessons learned it appears.
