Do you think an exponential increase in deaths is outside of the equation?

If you read the article that @EstebanSexface posted, the WHO guidelines say nothing about lockdowns as in confining healthy people to their homes.

He’s not a nutter academic and lives in the real world. Bad as it is, the article you posted is not advocating the kind of lockdown seen in Ireland and elsewhere. Look at the WHO recommendations chart, nothing about mandating keeping healthy people at home.

Which is one of the reasons why lockdowns don’t work, and do far more economic damage than they are worth. Half the population in essential jobs where they are potentially exposed to infection and essentially all the population going to shops where they are potentially exposed to infection.

Lockdowns are terrible.

I saw a heartbreaking video today about all the suicides in Melbourne in September.

I’d say a video about suicides any time of the year is pretty grim mate.
