This Louise Byrne Prime Time presenter is wrecking my head here. I think the current spike is being driven by overly strict restrictions all summer. People werenāt allowed go to matches or pubs while it was safe to do so. People need social outlets and itās better to allow for safe ones. Instead people are now facing into a long winter with increased restrictions and no end in sight, after having had little or no break or outlet all summer. If people had had a bit of a break then restrictions coming back in might be manageable. Instead it keeps ratcheting up and the inevitable result will be house parties in unsafe settings.
