I suppose Iâd be thinking more of the front line workers who donât want to have to face another wave, and the businesses who donât want to have to face another backslide in restrictions. But sure if people want to laugh at them, thatâs their right.
How can you actually say your fighting for businesses. You want them to remain closed.

Update from Northern Ireland:
-Waited for pub but once inside no SD but everyone had a seat.
-Mask wearing is more or less optional, most donât wear them. Thatâs in all stores. No masks in social settings.

The likes of Grogans on South William Street there have been closed for 15 months now. Theyâve been closed before Tony Holohan discovered the wonders of lockdowns himself, theyâve been closed when we had 4 cases a day, theyâve been closed when we had 5,000 in a day and theyâre closed now.
I donât think businesses are going to buy this bullshit from NPHET anymore.

Lad from DCC on the radio earlier lambasting the young people and the pubs in the Dublin City Centre area. What fucking cheek. They have been closed for 14 months. Also are these streets not pedestrianised by the DCC. What did they think would happen.

I have some degree of sympathy for DCC as I donât think you can turn your streets into a regulated beer garden overnight but they havenât helped matters.
Open the beer gardens, increase the number of bins and relocate Guards from fining people at the airport.

Malahide, Porto and Howth mobbed. SuperValu full of youngsters buying boxes of Heino to go to the beach.
They will have to start closing off the pedestrianised streets with barricades. When the crowds displace somewhere else like Phoenix Park, Stephens Green, Marley Park they will have to close off those too. Young people may eventually get the hint and book some holidays in Santa Ponza and Ibiza and spend their hard earned PUP there.
