America is being divided by people like yourself with zero attachment to reality. People who believe the solution to violent crime is to get cops off the streets and release all prisoners (as long as violent crime doesnât impact them of course) , people who believe all white people are racist and owe an apology for slavery (except for themselves obviously), absolute nutters who believe teaching advanced math is racist, etc.
Most young Americans are liberals not conservatives and increasingly left wing, wherever they get their opinions, Itâs not from right wing media. You are absolutely clueless.

The resistance to getting vaccinated among young Americans has little to do with right wing media as the great majority of media they encounter isnât right wing and they arenât right wing to start with. Like young people everywhere they get their news from social media where any dubious claims about vaccines are deleted.
The primary reason is they have seen their friends get Covid and have mild symptoms and recover in a few days, this reinforces their belief that Covid is only a serious disease for the elderly, and they have read or heard about blood clots and now heart inflammation, and rightly or wrongly donât want to be guinea pigs. They are not stupid.

And what is life. It is all about Survival. Ypu have one life and of anything from the weekend should tell people is live it as much as you can. If you live in fear your in your own personal prison. People should make their own decisions based on risk. And thanks to the vaccines there is minimal risk of covid.
The protocols for the Olympics are incredibly strict for anybody traveling. Effective quarantine in room even for those vaccinated. Daily PCR tests.

The same right-wing media which has ridiculed science, ridiculed expertise, ridiculed truth and ridiculed empathy and any sort of societal solidarity? Lots of young people vote for Trump, are you saying theyâre not influenced by right wing media in doing that?
Right wing media is a whole eco-system that targets all age groups. Young Trump voters may not read the Murdoch rot of the Wall Street Journal, but they do watch Fox or Newsmax or OAN or Ben Shapiro and the viral clips from them that pollute the internet, and they certainly listen to Joe Rogan and plenty of them watch Alex Jones and the absoute plethora of other far right online outlets that pollute minds.
At a wider level, the very ethos of America itself is individualist and society-rejecting. Parroted not least by the likes of you, for many years here.
You can hardly be surprised when this ethos, which rejects collective solutions to collective problems - it barely even recognises such a thing as a collective problem, has proven so bankrupt in the face of the ultimate collective problem.
Man up and admit that the right wing rot youâve been pushing on here for years is the exact sort of stuff that leads to not enough people being vaccinated. Itâs the inevitable outcome of it.
