I have to laugh at the latest restrictions. If you come from an EU Red country, you can get a test within 5 days and go on your way. Not so from the US or whatever. Red is supposed to indicate high risk and uncontrolled spread so there is no actual difference.
All of this being advisory of course.
They appear to be afraid to differentiate the US.
Political, not scientific. As most of the travel restrictions have been.
Weâve actually lost a lot of political capital at European level by advising against travel to European countries when they had free travel for us for months.
